My Story

  • A little about me...
I am a 50-ish female type currently living in Waterloo, Belgium for the past two years. I love quilting, golfing, playing bridge and motorcycle riding. As you can see, I have rainy day activities and sunny day activities. However, in Belgium, the rainy day activities seem to reign. My DH works for a large American Company which has moved us to various locations in the US, Sydney, Australia, Singapore and now Belgium. I was originally a teacher, but now I just teach quilting classes. I have a DH, three children, two grandchildren (boys), one border collie (Abbey) and one cat (Buffy). The youngest child (boy) currently lives here with us in Belgium and attends an English speaking University. The middle child (girl) lives in New Jersey and the oldest child (girl) lives in Utah with her two boys.

More Civil War Blocks

I have managed to stay up with the girls this week even without the book. I have been watching the other blogs so far the blocks have been easy to replicate. Let's just hope the next four for the week are not too tricky without the picture.

I love seeing all of the CWD blocks that you and others are posting. The fabrics are my favorites.
Keep stitching!

Just lovely blocks. Me too, I don't have the book yet, but I'm watching Kathie for the blocks and doing them myself!

I am so impressed that you are making these blocks without a book. They are lovely!

They are wonderful! I almost used the red version of the blue fabric you used for Enthusiasm last night in that same block!
